Amateur Surgeon

Brief Description:

The player gets to play as Alan Probe, a pizzaboy wannabe surgeon, who hits a drunk man by the name of Dr. Ingnacious Bleed, while on one of his rounds delivering food. Dr.Bleed's ribs are crushed and the player gets to perform surgery and fix his ribs using a variety of makeshift surgical instruments, such as a pizza cutter and tongs. The game consists of the player acting as an amateur surgeon performing a series of surgical procedures on unsuspecting individuals.

Game's Genre:

Simulation Game. It is a cartoon simulation of surgical procedures.

Game Interface: 

The player can use a touchscreen and use their finger to control the surgical instruments. The player can use a trackpad or mouse buttons to control the instruments during surgical procedures. During story cuts, the player can use the left button on the mouse to skip the sequence, continue with the game, and pause the game.

How many different images are used in the game?

During the story sequences where characters are in dialogue, there is a background image of the location and images of the characters. The dialogue is also read in the game. During surgery, there is an image of the specific body part that the procedure is being performed on as well images of the available instruments at the top of the game's screen. The patients heart rate is shown on a small monitor on the upper left hand and the image of a timer is at the bottom left part of the window.
