The heist:

2. Game platform

             Computer

3. Write a brief description of game

             Driving a getaway car. Different levels with varying difficulty, avoid crashes and go for quick times for extra cash. Buy upgrades between levels. Some levels require upgrades to unlock.

4. What is the game's genre?

             Action / racing

5. Describe the game interface.

            Top down view, controlling car during "missions". Upgrade screen with three characters to buy different kinds of upgrades from between missions.

6. What is the goal of the game?

            To escape from various crime scenes in your car without damaging your own car or civilian cars (damaging police cars gives a bonus)

7. What are the major challenges of the game?

            Unlocking levels requires going back and playing old missions that you've already beaten for extra cash. It might get more difficult later on, but I didn't play long enough for that to happen.

8. What is the complexity of the rule set?

            Not very complex, easy to pick up the game without reading the instructions.

9. What kind of competition exists?

            None, single player only.

Kitten cannon

           Fire kittens out of a cannon to see how far you can get them to launch. As the kitten flies through the air it can hit various obstacles. Trampolines and bombs send the kitten flying farther, spike pits stop the

           kitten dead in its tracks.

            Skill

5. Describe the game interface.

           Control the power and angle of the cannon. A counter shows up that measures how far the kitten has gone since it was fired.

6. What is the goal of the game?

            Get the high score (by making the kitten go as far as possible)

            The game is based mostly on luck, as the obstacles appear randomly.

            Very simple

            The high score counter can make for some competition

            Use the mouse to control the angle of the put, click and pull back to control the putter's power.

            Get the golf ball into the hole with as few strokes as possible

            Dealing with varied terrain, such putting over hills, and putting around corners.

            Simple

            Use the mouse to aim the pool stick, then click and pull to control power.

            Make either all the striped balls, or solid balls, then finish with the 8-ball into the pockets of a pool table

            Competition. Depends on the skill of your opponent.

8. What is the complexity of the rule set?

            Somewhat complex if you've never played pool before.

9. What kind of competition exists?

            Online turn-based multiplayer.

Tanks

            Two player turn-based game. Control the angle and power of your tank's turret to adjust the trajectory of your weapons. Try to hit your opponent's tank to deal damage. Each tank (your tank and your

            opponent's tank) has a certain amount of hit points each round. In between rounds you can buy extra shields or new weapons.

            Strategy

5. Describe the game interface.

            2D landscape that takes damage from the tanks weapons. Turn-based between the two players. During your turn you can use arrows to adjust the power and angle, or move the tank across the landscape to  

            find cover.

6. What is the goal of the game?

            Destroy your opponent's tank. Dealing more damage gets you more money to buy upgrades between levels.

7. What are the major challenges of the game?

            Figuring out what the best weapons are, trying to figure out angle/power to use to         

            hit your opponent's tank.

8. What is the complexity of the rule set?

            Simple

9. What kind of competition exists?

            Strong multiplayer competition.
