The Final Exam 1 will be held on TuesdayWednesday, September 30th December 14th from 56:3000-69:30 00 pm in Keyes 105Arey 5. The exam will cover the class material from chapters Chapters 1-3 11 and laboratory material from Experiment experiments 1-6.  Allowed exam The exam is expected to take approximately 2 hours, but you will be able to work for the entire 3 hours. Allowed exam items are pens/pencils, a non-programmable calculator (no cell phones or other wireless devices of any kind are permitted in the exam roombut you probably won't need it), and molecular models.  There will You will be provided with a periodic table. There will be an optional review session on Monday, September 29th December 12th starting at 71:30pm 00 in Keyes 105.  The review session will be question-and-answer format.

Exam 3 will be held on Monday, December 5th from 5:30-6:30 pm in Keyes 105. The exam will cover the class material from Chapters 1-9, Chapter 10 sections 1-8, and laboratory material from experiments 1-5. Allowed exam items are pens/pencils, a non-programmable calculator (but you probably won't need it), and molecular models. You will be provided with a periodic table. There will be an optional review session on Sunday, December 4th at 4:00 PM in Keyes 105.

Exam 2 will be held on Thursday, October 30th November 3rd from 5:30-6:30 pm in Keyes 105.  The exam will cover the class material from chapters Chapters 1-6, and chapter 7 up through and including section 7.5, and laboratory material from Experiments experiments 1-3. The exam will be comprehensive but will focus on material introduced since Exam 1.  Allowed exam Allowed exam items are pens/pencils, a non-programmable calculator (no cell phones or other wireless devices of any kind are permitted in the exam roombut you probably won't need it), and molecular models.  There will You will be provided with a periodic table. There will be an optional review session on Tuesday, October 28th starting at 6:30pm Wednesday, Nov. 2nd at 7pm in Keyes 105.  The review session will be question-and-answer format.
