Texas Tech Law School summarizes and analyzes Chevron's arguments against the people of the Houston/Kennedy Heights neighborhood. They give substantial background information, and provide some testimony from the hearings. This should be a great resource for Chevron's point of view.
U.S. Government Texas Supreme Court Review, on the web at [www.supreme.courts.state.tx.us/ebriefs/06/06107301.pdf] (visited 3/9/2008).
This source is a straightforward court review, complete with statement of case and facts, argument, and certificate of service. Its usefulness lies in its unbiased statement of fact.
"Using Dispute Resolution Techniques to Address Environmental Justice Concerns: Case Studies," available online at
[www.epa.gov/.../publications/ej/cbi-case-study-report.pdf] (visited 3/5/2008).
The EPA provides a very clear and detailed report of the Kennedy Heights/Chevron dispute, including a map of the dispute resolution process. Because the EPA was a definitive aspect of the resolution process, given that they performed tests for the environmental standards of the area, it is important to consider their report and their contributions.
