This shows a sample of collision bounces emanating from a source and bouncing off of objects. In this scene, the obstacles have a damage field that decrements per hit. The projectiles also have a KILL command on reaching their World Limits, which are set just off the screen.
This is a sample of the code used to write the above scene. Take note of the callback functions utilized.
In the beginning, there was nothing. Then we each started to work on the tutorials to give us some basic understanding of the general layout of the Torque Game Builder game engine. We slowly started breaking off into our designated and assigned roles, and so I kept with the tutorials, as Head Programmer. It was my job to be able to answer questions and integrate code. I also worked on the above coding to get walls to bounce bullets, disappear, and otherwise be interactive.
